Balluun Inc Set for Growth as an Independent US Company
Sunnyvale, CA - Balluun Inc, a Delaware corporation and former wholly-owned subsidiary of Swiss-based Balluun AG, has officially completed the process of separating from its parent company and become an independent US entity. Balluun Inc provides Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) technology connecting B2B buyers and sellers through vertical market networks. The product integrates B2B social network, e-Commerce marketplace and business applications all in one platform to enable sellers and buyers to connect, engage, and transact within industry-specific networks.
The restructuring was approved by the board of Balluun AG and implemented through a Management Buy Out (MBO) process. As a result of the restructuring, Balluun Inc retained all product, intellectual property, customers and partner relationships, and the US-based team centralized in Silicon Valley. Deepak Gupta, former COO of Balluun and a veteran executive in B2B SaaS, is appointed CEO of the new company. “We are in a very unique and exciting situation,” said Deepak. “The company is like a fresh start up with a lean operation and clean structure. Yet, we already have a product that’s quite matured in terms of depth and breadth, and we’ve got partners, customers and a strong pipeline. It opens up a lot of growth opportunities for us, particularly in the US.”
The company currently targets B2B sellers and buyers through partnership with Trade Show Organizers (TSO) and Trade Associations (TA). Balluun provides turnkey solution for TSO and TA to create white-labeled 24/7/365 digital platform for their trade show audience. The partnership is a win-win. It allows TSO and TA to launch a digital platform quickly to drive audience engagement, brand leadership and new revenue growth. For Balluun, it accelerates the launch of industry-specific market networks and scaling of customer acquisition.
